Photo Stories & Remote ExpeditionsFor the adventurers & photographers
“Then something Tookish woke up inside him, and he wished to go and see the great mountains, and hear the pine-trees and the waterfalls, and explore the caves” J.R.R. Tolkien.
Hi there! Welcome on my website, an online book as you wish. This online book is about me, photography and travelling to remote places. It’s about extraordinary and normal things. From remote expeditions to fun musings and more. I’ll write about photographing for NGOs, publishing a book, about giving more than taking, becoming a better person.
Something Tookish woke up inside the Hobbit, my favourite book of all, my inspiration, and something Tookish woke up inside of me. Something Tookish referring to the craving for adventure, the need for exploring, the growing wanderlust. That’s what you will find here.
The raw side of society
All about being a photographer, behind the scenes, life as a photographer. The great but also the bad things. Let’s keep it real, shall we?
I love travelling beyond the ordinary. Though I also enjoy Paris & Rome. But on this website I’ll tell you more about travelling to remote places.
We should keep it real and personal. So besides showing and telling about my travels & work I’ll also tell you all about me and my life.
I dedicate most of my time to telling stories visually, that is. I do this for NGOs, foundations and other companies who do good. That’s what truly makes me happy, being able to use my creativity to tell stories that inspire, that motivate.
Capturing the right moment, being able to visually tell stories, stories that matter, that touch and sometimes even provoke people into acting. That’s what I do, that’s what I love. On this website I’ll take you with me on the adventure of becoming a better photographer, telling more stories better, living the photographers life I wish.
“Don’t adventures ever have an end? I suppose not. Someone else always has to carry on the story.”
– The Hobbit
“It’s the job that’s never started that takes the longest to finish.”
– J.R.R. Tolkien
“I have found that it is the small everyday deed of ordinary folks that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love."
– Gandalf, the Hobbit
“When he heard there was nothing to eat, he sat down and wept… “Why did I ever wake up!” he cried.”

Latest from the Blog
As I’m used to tell stories visually it’s a bit hard for me find the right words to tell stories. However, sometimes words only give more power to photos and vice versa. So, I’ll try to keep up a blog. I’ll use the blog to share behind the scene stories (expect a lot of funny happenings), stories behind a photo I shot and still a lot of photos. No one ever said that blogs should be texts and as photos can tell powerful stories on their own I’ll show you that sometimes photos is all a blog post needs.
